Young Voices of Macedon sing their 15th Service of Readings and Carols at the Church of the Resurrection, Macedon
2025 ended in the customary manner with the Service of Readings and Carols at the Church of the Resurrection, Macedon, when the children had the experience of singing with a substantial adult choir that included singers from the Australian Chamber Choir, along with pipe organ and solo flute. The service commenced with our soloist Arthur McArdle singing the first verse of the processional carol Once in royal David’s city in a program that embraced English, German, Russian and

Big end of 2023 for Young Voices
At the time of writing everyone at Young Voices is busy preparing for the annual Service of Readings and Carols on 17 December at the Church of the Resurrection, Macedon. In addition, a group of our Cantabiles have recently been involved in 2 other major projects. Young Voices get the Woodend Winter Arts Festival off to a flying start
At the end of a typically very cold day in Woodend on Friday 9 June Young Voices of Macedon marked the beginning of the Woodend Winter Arts Festival with an outdoor performance outside the Buffalo Sports Stadium. Performing on the back of a large truck, the choir warmed the hearts of bystanders with a programme of a capella music, the only accompaniment being body percussion executed by the singers themselves.
