Annual Concert 2016
On October 16, 2016 Young Voices of Macedon presented their Annual Concert to a capacity audience at the Church of the Resurrection, Macedon. For the major work - the complete Messe Brève by 19th-century French composer Leo Delibes – the Cantabile group of Young Voices of Macedon was joined by the Bendigo Youth Choir and members of the Resonance String Orchestra, a total of 50 performers. In addition, each of the YVM groups sang a bracket of songs, the Vivos under the direction of Elizabeth Teed and the Cantabiles under Emma West, and the Bendigo choir under the direction of Valerie Broad and Gail Godber. This highly successful concert was repeated on the following Sunday at St Andrew’s Uniting Church, Bendigo.
