Welcome to the Young Voices of Macedon
Young Voices of Macedon
is a non-profit community choir
for young people of the Macedon Ranges.
Children are welcome to join the choir
from the age of five.

The choir rehearses weekly in Woodend during the school term.
It is led by three conductors/teachers and a professional accompanist.
​
Each year the choir gives a major concert and performs frequently at various community events, including the annual Choralfest at Montsalvat.
​
Rehearsals take place on Thursdays during term time on Thursdays from 4.15-5.45 pm at the Norma Richardson Hall, Buckland Street, Woodend, and are supplemented by online resources. Separate programs are offered for children of 5-8 yrs (Vivos) and 9+ yrs (Cantabiles).

Young Voices of Macedon is supported by the Gisborne Branch of the Bendigo Bank, the Stoneman Foundation and the Gisborne GREAT Association.
